When I was starting out in the international non-profit sector, "not doing it for the money" was an understatement. I was surrounded by people who were passionate about the cause and had come together to try to make a difference. Fast-forward 15 years and I am still very passionate about what I do. I am still making a difference, through the medical device industry. In the non-profit sector, finding something that worked and the market loved used to mean more time fundraising to keep up with demand. In the for-profit sector, when I'm successful in the market, my success funds my next product.
At M&M, we love to solve the puzzle of profitability through creative design, efficient supply chain and effective management. Some of our clients are concerned that the pursuit of profit will mean sacrificing the beauty of their product design or that greed will damage the culture they have created. M&M sees profit as freedom. With profitability comes the opportunity to invest in new product design, engage in philanthropy, hire a larger team, or scale your impact. |
